I took my sister to eat here since she was craving some Ramen on her birthday. We arrive like 7:30ish pm and every table was taken. It was 5 of us in total & our server was a very nice guy and told us to wait 10 mins. My sister tried the Spicy miso and she enjoyed the food. My mother noticed our server was doing everything in terms of taking our orders and still attending everyone. It looked like he was alone and doing everything in terms of taking orders, cleaning, & packing takeout orders. We were very surprised by our server being able to multitasked and service was great and efficient.
Ordered the pork ramen and was instantly a fan. The soup is super flavourful and the service is prompt for lunch time. You can get in and out less than 15'. Ambiance is great for friends and hh too as they have awesome jap beers. Check it out!
Solid ramen restaurant right next to the train station. Clean and relatively spacious venue. Reasonably priced, and good ramen.
Food: Pretty good Ramen. Standard spicy miso flavor you'd get at most stores. Good enough to satisfy a ramen craving. Also ordered the Takoyaki and Shrimp starters which was good as well. Service: Good service. Frequent water refills. Food all came hot and quick. Ambiance: Big restaurant, suitable for big parties.
Ordered online through their website. One of my crew recommended the Takoyaki as an appetizer. That's crispy octopus with a mayo, sweet sauce. Although I was skeptical, I tried them and they were delicious. One order allowed 4 people to have a couple each. Nice portion. Also got the spicy miso and tonkotsu classic ramen. Both were delicious. The spicy was not overwhelming and still allowed the flavors of the broth and the ingredients to shine. The takeout order was ready on-time (actually a couple of minutes early). The Staff were very pleasant and the restaurant itself looks very modern and inviting. Two of the folks I was with are real ramen lovers and have their favorite ramen restaurants in LIC. After this takeout, Ramen Spot has floated toward the top of their list.
Absolutely one of the best ramen spots in LIC!! The place was near the train stop- Court st station. And if you drive, there's also parking spots available nearby. The restaurant is clean and spacious. Our server is a very lovely young woman and she's very gracious and friendly. The food is really good and the prices are very reasonable. We got the mango salad, the calamari and the tonkutsu classic. It was delicious and freshly prepared! You could actually see the kitchen from the dining room. Overall, the dining experience is really great. I would definitely go back again and really wanted to try their other dishes on the menu!
The toriniku is excellent -- I don't know where else I would get pork jowl ramen! The food is also not overwhelmingly salty or spicy, which I appreciate. The service is also excellent! Seated next to me was a picky customer who asked to mix in a separate, plain broth into her bowl (so as to dilute some spiciness). Rather than accommodate her request, they gave her a new non-spicy bowl. I think it's great that the kitchen has enough respect for the food that they didn't compromise on the dish, and also that the staff was so gracious with such an outlandish request.
We came here for lunch on a Sunday and were seated immediately. There were other customers there as well. It's a nice clean spot. Service was wonderful, very attentive! I got the tonkatsu ramen and my bf got the shoyu. We really enjoyed our ramen. I think it is a good portion for $16 like you will be full but not too full. It also came with a decent amount of toppings like the two large pork slices, bamboo slices, wood ear mushrooms, etc. My tonkatsu broth was very flavorful and not too salty. We shared an order of karaage chicken ($9). It was a little overcooked but still tasted ok with the sauce. I would come back here for the ramen.
Came here on a Saturday for a late lunch. I got the tonkatsu ramen with pork belly. So yummy and hot for the chilly day. We also got the takoyaki and chicken karaage. The takoyaki balls are huge! Love it. Chicken Karaage was also a decent portion size. We added a side of chilli sauce, which is worth the additional $2. I'd totally come back. The place is spacious and seems to be able to accommodate a good amount of people.
